Sample Materials
Below are some sample materials I’ve used in my classes. Many of them riff on pedagogical ideas in books like Mewburn et al.’s How to Fix Your Academic Writing Trouble, Harrell’s What Is the Argument?, or Haber’s Critical Thinking. Anyone should feel free to borrow/modify these assignments. Feel free to reach out if you’d like more information about how these assignments are implemented in my classes. And, I’d love to hear from folks who have improved upon these or have similar (but better) assignments! I’m always looking to improve what I have.
